The Six Queens-Prolouge

Celeste looked around the table at her five sisters, various emotions was displayed on their faces at the news of their parents passing and the fact that each sister was left a kingdom by them.Never before had a king divided up the land among his children usually it was the oldest who got the throne.

Her twin sister Eris who sat across from her,had a look of outrage across her face her jade coloured eyes burned anyone who dared to look at the princess.Celeste knew that Eris wanted all the kingdoms for herself she wanted to the most powerful so no one could touch her and now in a flash she'd only got part of the kingdom the dark part.It suited Eris well,she had a malicious nature and only looked out for her self like most of the elves that inhabited the Phobos region,Celeste shivered at the very thought of the area it had always made her uneasy whenever the family had traveled to stay there.The Phobos region was way up in the north and was popular for criminals to reside in the moutians that seperated it from the Wind Elves domain known as the Anemoi Region

The Anemoi Regoin was known for its brutal storms and powerful winds,there was no palace there for the royal family to reside so Celeste has never visted the region but has heard many things of how all the house's are in the tree tops and how the trees are protected from falling or catching fire by an all powerful spell.Her younger sister Solanna would be the first Queen ever to reside in the region,quickly glancing at her sister her tanned face gave nothing away it showed no emotion of any kind.Her sisters golden eyes meet her own jade coloured one and for a momment a flash of fear and uncertianty showed but it disappered as quickly as it appeared.

No one had spoken for mintues all of them was deep in thought or simply to stunned to utter even a word.Celeste would be the only one not leaving the Tyche Region for it had been gifted to her,she would rule over the Sun elves in Cutos City,Celeste wondered why her father had done this it,he may have thought that this would not divide them but make them closer but to Celeste he had made a mistake by dividing the kingdom and not only has he divided them completely but already it was tearing them apart.

"We should make a deal" said Candace the youngest sister and the most rational,she been gifted the Furia Region which was largely made up of molton rock and boiling lava,it was a dangerous place for any elf to reside and yet the Fire Elves survived,their main city resideed in the heart of a volcanitic cave the entrance surronded by boiling hot lake.

"A deal? and what deal would that be little sister" hissed Eris her head whipping around to face her younger sister,her gaze was hostile and unforgiving as it settled upon Candace but if Candace had been unnerved by it she didnt let it show.

"We must sign a treaty to respect each others lands and not throw our home into war afterall we all have a right to rule" explained Candace her amber eyes daring her siblings to refuse her idea,it was a fair proposal and she was right they were all of royal blood.

"Your right we cannot let our own ambition blind us, after all we are Queens now we must put our subjects needs before our own" Said Fauna the second youngest sister and the peacemaker of the six sisters , she had been given the region of Cybele,it was natures domain full of animals,a few villages spotted around the outskirts of each forest.Celeste knew that Fauna was going to travel Pomona Valley.

"What if someone doesnt agree with this treaty" Asked Eris looking at both Candace and Fauna, a mask of curiosity was fixed upon her face hiding her displeasure at the though of being stuck with only the Phobos region to rule over,she wanted every region in her control and to be all powerful.

"Then they are a disgrace and are not fit to be Queen,as they  so openly admitted that they would rather have power over peace" Said Candace venomously looking at Eris with utter loathing,Nadia was nodding at her side,her face was a picture of disgust as she eyed her older sister,Nadia was going to inherit the Sedna Region,it was full of rivers that interconnected with each other it was one of the larger regions and many of its villages and citys was on the surface or on the outskirts of the rivers or lake.

"No need to look at like that Candace I was only curious" Shrugged Eris rolling her eyes

"So are we all agreed on the treaty?" Asked Candace

Celeste nodded,the treaty was fair and it meant that each sister would have one less thing to worry about when they asended to the thrones.While most of the sisters was in agreement however Celeste knew that Eris would only sign it because as much as she wanted power she still needed to mantain a helathy realationship with the Queen that borders her region in this case it was Solanna who'd be that Queen and at the momment Solanna was glaring at her scheming older sister.
With a wave of her hand Celeste conjured a piece of parchment,a quill and a bottle of ink quickly jotting down the baiscs of the treaty she signed her name before passing it to Solanna who read it before signing,the last sister to sign it was Eris and the look on her face suggested she wasnt happy about signing it as soon she'd  signed it a small symbol appeared on each of the sisters right hands signifying the binding contract and always reminding them of the possible consquences that would occur of they broke their word.

Standing up slowly,Celeste looked at each of her sisters faces from to Eris's displeased face to Fauna's calm expression they were all looking at her waiting for her to make her move.Celeste knew that nothing would be the same again in her family they would always be at odds with each other now.Bowing her head she swiftly left the room without uttering a goodbye making it clear the meeting was over and the games of being a ruler would soon began.
